Dear brethren,

We solicit your prayers for the Family Conference 2017 that we are to sponsor, which will take place in the Sandy Cove Ministries conference center in Maryland (USA), from the 14th to the 18th of August. We hope to have a good time of Christian fellowship among the approximately 200 members and friends of the North Bergen church that hope to be with us. Also, we hope to have a time of rest and refreshment. Above all, we hope to benefit from daily expositions of the Word of God.

Pastor Bart Carlson, from our “neighbor” Trinity Baptist Church of Montville, New Jersey, will be preaching on the person and work of Jesus Christ in Acts 3 and 4 under the title The Name that is above every name.

Pastor Jim Savastio, from the Reformed Baptist Church of Louisville, in the state of Kentucky, will preach on the instructions of Paul to Titus which are found in the second chapter of his letter. He will call us to consider the relationship between the members of different generations, and the way in which the elder are to exercise an influence over the younger, investing in this way for the coming generation.

Pastor Noble Vater, from the Iglesia Bautista Bereana in Puerto Rico, will expound the exhortation of Jesus Christ, You, follow me, in John 21:18-22. He will also lead us in a meditation each morning on some passage of the Scripture.

We ask for your prayers especially for the ministry of the Spirit of God in the proclamation of His Word, and also for every aspect of the conference, including the logistics, our physical well-being, a good spirit of fellowship and mutual edification, and our good testimony before the personnel of the conference center.

Below the “screen” which appears on that page, there is a place in which Spanish or English can be selected, since there will be live translation of the sermons.
